Elektrisch Leitende Silikon

Conductive Silicone: Shielding Rubber

The conductive silicone is made from a silicone compound loaded with carbon particles or Nickel-Graphite or Silver. They are obtained elastomers with low volumetric resistivity combined with the chemical-physical characteristics typical of silicones.
The conductive silicone can be supplied in sheets of varying thickness, extruded profiles or to design forms already printed or die-cut (O-ring). Their use is recommended when a need for a good shielding effectiveness or protection from electrostatic charges coupled with a need for critical environmental sealing (up to IP 65).
Typical applications are: the flange sealing O-rings, connectors, cable routing plates, seals for box covers.
Installation is normally done is by friction or in ravines or jokes.
